Delete your CyphrPost account
We’re sorry to see you go. You can delete your account in the app, or ask us to delete it with the form below. This page is for CyphrPost (formerly Amicitia), the app by Veil Solutions Pty Ltd.
Two ways to delete your account
- In the app: go to your profile, tap Settings, then Account Settings › Delete Account, and confirm.
- On this page: fill in the form with the email address you signed-in with and your username. We’ll then email you a link to confirm.
Check your email.
We’ve received your request to delete your account. To finish, open the confirmation link we’ve emailed you within 24 hours. Your account won’t be deleted until you do.
What happens to your data
- Straight away: your account is deactivated. If you change your mind, sign in to CyphrPost within 30 days and it’s restored.
- After 30 days: we permanently delete your account and everything linked to it, including your profile, email address, posts and photos, comments, the messages and attachments you sent, your friends and blocked lists, and your notifications. The keys that encrypt your content are revoked.
- What we keep: reports that other people made about content you shared, so we can act on them. Copies in our backups are erased as those backups expire.
